The lush green area of Kányavár Island is open for visits all year round. Surrounded by the Zala River and the western reservoir of Lake Kis-Balaton, the small island can be approached via a unique wooden bridge, which has become a symbol of Lake Kis-Balaton.
Navigating the island is facilitated by the Búbos Vöcsök educational trail, consisting of 15 stations and approximately 1.5 km in length, making it comfortably walkable within an hour. Information boards placed here showcase the diverse world of bird species inhabiting the area, and with a bit of luck, visitors may witness some of the most magnificent representatives of the rich birdlife. In the middle of the island, there is a multi-level birdwatching station made of wood, offering a splendid view of the surrounding landscape, and if we are attentive enough, we may even spot birds swimming on the water or hiding in the reeds from above.
At the end of the tour, children are welcomed by a brand new playground, where parents can also relax. Resting and bonfire facilities are available on the island, with barbecue areas and benches awaiting hikers.
Sehr sauberes Hotel, Essen sehr gut, Personal freundlich.
Hansbert KrennLegalább tizedjére voltunk a szállodában! Minden nyár elején és november végén megyünk! Nagyon szeretjük, a pincérek már ismerősként üdvözölnek, mindenkihez van pár kedves szavuk!
Várnagyné Horváth LorettaWe stayed at the Belenus Hotel for the third time, and once again, we were not disappointed. It is a very pleasant, comfortable, and beautiful hotel. The staff is excellent and attentive to the guests' wishes. The food is delicious and varied, and the servers are very attentive and quick.
Kálmán SzabóWe have been to the hotel at least ten times! We go every early summer and at the end of November! We love it; the waiters greet us as familiar faces and always have a few kind words for everyone!
Loretta Várnagyné HorváthOne of the best hotels we've stayed at during our travels (worldwide!!!). Clean, spacious room (superior), excellent wellness area (we didn't even go to the large bath), and the breakfast and dinner offer a wide selection, with the food being incredibly delicious.
