Whether it’s a leisurely stroll or a family hike, one thing is for sure: our body and soul will be rejuvenated outdoors, marveling at the beauty of the forest.
West of the city center, southeast of Zalamerenye, the Snail Trail Nature Trail leads through the Zalakaros Park Forest, with one starting point at the lookout tower in Zalakaros and the other at the fire pit at the bottom of the hill. During the walk, we can learn about forestry and its protective role, as well as the mushrooms and forest animals found in the area. Moreover, on the signboards, we can even listen to the songs of the forest birds, so later on, we can recognize them by their singing. Unique wave-shaped benches have been installed along the trail, where we can rest if we get tired and enjoy our snack comfortably while relaxing here.
